I worked at an automotive company as a method engineer back in the day and my main work involved kaizen, lean manufacturing and increasing the productivity and efficiency of the production line. Basically, any automotive company copies and enhances the Toyota model. However, in my opinion, OKR is the best performance framework known to realize stretch goals whether it's for an individual or a huge company such as Google. It has incredible advantages and if you find other approaches, you may also create your own hybrid system for your company or life if that's what you want to do, experimentation is the key to finding the truth.
