Sam Altman is Now Welcome to the Ousted CEO Club, Better Yet to Defend the AI Future
In the last 50-year history of top technology companies, we have a new hero, Sam Altman. Steve Jobs was ousted basically by the person he assigned as the CEO, John Sculley and Elon Musk was ousted by the board of Paypal when he took a vacation to South Africa. And now, Sam Altman is the 3rd person to be honored.
Certain questions come to mind.
Why would anyone oust the CEO of a company when that person is basically responsible for the new industry, AI, that will change the future and make history?
Why would anyone fire the CEO of a company when he is responsible for making that company a $80 billion company in just 6 years? And they were just getting started since the company made ChatGPT 3.5 public on November 30, 2022.
Why would a board fire a CEO who just made a keynote of the new innovations of ChatGPT such as voice and image support, GPT Store, developer support, and so on?
Lastly, why would a management team kick out a CEO when that person is incredibly experienced…
