Sondors Metacycle is more than just an e-motorcycle. We are basically witnessing the new era of Model 3 for motorcycles. It’s electric, beautiful and affordable, which will make other manufacturers want to do the same as happened with the automotive industry.
I am more than impressed with the design. It’s simple, bold and yet sophisticated, congrats Sondors team! The battery is well placed, the aluminum chassis looks awesome. Basically, it feels like 2050 and you are about to take a road trip in a Luc Besson film.
The Metacycle specs are also quite impressive.
- It only weighs 200 pounds
- The maximum speed is 80 mph so you can still ride over the speed limit in most states.
- It has 20 hp with a torque of 200 lb-ft.
I feel like you are asking already. So, what’s the 0–60? The company doesn’t announce that interestingly, however, their new car’s 0–60 acceleration is under 5 secs and if we consider the same ratio from cars to motorcycles, Metacycle should have under 4sec 0–60…
