The Climate Crisis Global Union, Not? We Don’t Take Lessons (from the Pandemic)
Paris Agreement, signed by 195 countries in 2015, was celebrated around the world because people witnessed the global union for our only home. And now, after 8 years, beginning from the Paris Agreement leading countries, USA and China, the world has yet to take definitive and disciplined steps towards the goal of 1.5 C global warming and 0 emissions by 2050.
Firstly, why do I think governments are doing worse than what they did with the pandemic?
In short, duration and solution. The pandemic was chaotic, however, it only took 11 months to resolve the vaccine situation and another year to vaccinate everyone.
Hence, luckily, companies adapted the mRNA solution to create the vaccine solution and after some more global chaos, the pandemic was over after 2 years, which was still a record time considering that creating a vaccine normally takes 3 years. We were lucky!
And then, there is the Climate Crisis.
