CitiBank is Going All-In for Paperless, A Whole New Shift for Customers to Come

Our mailboxes are still filled with bills, promotional letters, and bank statements. They are mostly going to waste when all we need and use is mobile access for all. CitiBank is changing all that with possible backlash while offering incredible benefits for its customers worldwide.

CitiBank has made a bold and extreme move to end the paper statements for good sending a notification to its customers that they may lose their access to Citi digital or mobile if they keep using the paper statements mailed to them periodically.

This caused reactions from some customers saying that this action limits their freedom and the ability for seniors to receive physical bank statements.

This reaction basically doesn’t make sense. If the customer is already using mobile or have digital access, then, he/she already has access to bank statements via mobile or PDFs.
